As a teacher, Clinical Psychologist. Coach, Veteran, etc, your Pawsitivity narrator is passionate about creating compelling content that engages, informs, and transforms readers. Dr. Eve G. Weber was born in Brownsville, Texas, and raised on a large cattle ranch near Hebbronville, Texas. She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, holding licensure in Hawaii, Texas, and Virginia. Dr. Weber is credentialed in both Adult and Child Psychology, having completed a fellowship in Child Psychology at Kapiolani Child Protection Center, followed by a two-year fellowship in Neuropsychology under the instruction of Dr. Elkhonon Goldberg in New York City. Before pursuing her Ph.D., she worked as a classroom teacher and school administrator. She was in private practice in McLean, Virginia, before being invited to serve as a US Naval Medical Service Officer, Clinical Psychologist, Deployment Psychologist, and Child Psychologist. She was stationed in the United States and overseas, including an eight-month deployment to Kuwait. She has published research in Military Medicine and presented at national conferences. While stationed in Okinawa, Japan, she initiated a radio talk show, “Okinawa Shrink Wrap,” addressing mental health issues among the military and their families. Later, her show “Williamsburg Shrink Wrap” earned a Virginia Broadcasting Award. After her military service, she joined the Department of State’s Office of Medical Services, where she developed and directed the Child and Family Program, addressing the mental health needs of foreign service families and providing medical assistance as needed. Now semi-retired in Boerne, Texas, the Drs. Weber (Dr. David and Dr. Eve) continue to have adventures doing locum work, providing treatment online, spending with family (two daughters, their husbands, and grandsons), writing, gardening, and spending their days with their three dogs, Hermes, Athena, and Apollo. Dr. Eve continues to provide consultations and coaching with a dedication to mental health, supporting children and their families, and adults worldwide through the Fulbright Scholars Program.
Dr. Eve Weber, PhD is a Child and Adult psychologist who was an active-duty military clinician with multiple miliary relocations and a combat deployment to OIF. She authored a groundbreaking article on the effects of military relocations on child/adolescent function and behavior.
